Her Story · West Virginia

I Know What It Feels Like To Struggle.

I’m running for the West Virginia State Senate, District 8, because I’m tired of watching career politicians claim they understand working families while voting against our interests.

I’m not a political insider. I’m a single parent, a high school dropout who earned her GED, a public school teacher who spent two decades in West Virginia classrooms, a breast cancer survivor, and a lifelong West Virginian.

When I was battling cancer, I saw firsthand how broken our healthcare system is. I saw the fear families feel when they don’t know what a diagnosis will cost. That experience made me realize District 8 deserves a senator who understands what real West Virginians are going through because she’s living it too.

I don’t just talk about West Virginia values.
I’ve lived them.
